This last Saturday, Noodsberg played its popular Annual Pinehurst Challenge for the second time. Twenty players in 10 fourballs competed to win a handmade trophy in the shape of a pine tree, kindly presented by Werner and Kevin Meyer. This was also combined with the club-sponsored meat day for some great prizes.
For those that don't know, the Pinehurst format is a unique format developed by the Club Pro at Pinehurst. The format combines elements of alternate shot and scramble. ⛳?

The Noodsburg Country Club played their Annual Shackle cup this weekend 16th March 2024 which is an iconic yet friendly battle between the English and German players.
It was a sweltering hot day but that didn’t kill the spirits of our golfers and a tight match was played with the Germans defending their title with the game ending In total points at 5.5 a piece which went down to points per 4 ball where they won by 6 points.
This past week has most certainly been surreal and many of the challenges we faced before all of a sudden seems minuscule in comparison. We are learning as we go and will continue to keep our members informed about the actions being implemented at the Club.
For now, Noodsberg Country Club will remain open, but will now operate under the newly increased regulations.
We encourage you to come and play a round of golf and have refreshments, but please ensure that you manage social distancing.

Food and Beverage Operations The new regulations gazetted require that we close the bar at 18:00 on weekdays and Saturday and 13:00 on Sundays and Public Holidays. Last order will be taken at 17:45 and 12:45 respectively.
Unfortunately, tomorrow is a Public Holiday which means the last order for alcoholic drinks will be at 12:45. Food and non-alcoholic drinks will still be available after these hours

Mascor Toyota will be hosting a sponsored golf day every 3rd Wednesday of the month @ Noodsberg Country Club. You are all invited to come out and enjoy a great days of golf with the sponsor. Entry form will be posted on the noticeboard.
A competitive war was played on a magnificent day at the Noodsberg Country Club on Saturday 22 April 2017. Unfortunately there had to be a winner and the Germans were victorious on the day by 6 to 4 matches. Had the matches been drawn the English would have won on the better total of stableford points 428 to 426.
